WALL HANGING COLLECTION

‘Bird in the Bush’ ceramic wall hangings are ceramic art pieces that are illustrative in decoration and incorporate little ceramic 3D birds sheltering in hand painted trees. The wall hangings create a quirky story around each piece and draw in the viewer. Each piece is hand formed and made from stoneware clay.

 

The work is hand painted using coloured slips and the transparent glaze gives the ceramic wall hanging a gloss finish. Each ceramic piece is hung on carefully chosen waxed cord and decorated with hand made ceramic beads.

 

The vivid contemporary colour palette is complimented with 24c gold lustre detail. Favourites of the ceramic wall hangings are the teal pieces along side the raspberry and dusky pink shades. Each piece is 15cm tin length and vary in width, approximately 8cm - 10cms. The intricate hand painted details provide a unique piece for any home.
